SAN DIEGO, California, April 8, 2010 -- The American Design Awards is putting out a call for entries, to all graphic and web designers worldwide to take part in the 2010 Summer Semi Annual Design Contest.
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the twenty two (22) design categories, bringing the total of winners to 66. Furthermore, this year the American Design Awards is giving away $2,500 to the top score getter of the entire competition, as well as $1000 and $500 to the second and third place finishers.
Judging is based on creativity, effectiveness, practicality, as well as ethical business and design standards.
The Summer and Winter Semi Annual Design Contests (now in their eighth year of existence) have been the cornerstone of the American Design Awards, expanding every year to include more design categories and attract more designers of various disciplines around the globe. "We are always looking to expand our reach to more and more designers worldwide", said Art Javid, co-chairman of the American Design Awards. "Our goal is to reach every designer out there, and at the very least unite designers of all disciplines to conform to today's ethical and business practices –in the long run it is our intent to create awareness against unethical design practices, so that the world sees our industry as one of the elite."
Graphic and web designers who would like to take part in the 2010 Summer Semi Annual Design Contest for a chance to win great prizes and worldwide notoriety, should visit the American Design Awards by September 1, 2010 and enter the contest through the six step online entry process.
