There are no deadlines for entering the Monthly

Design Contest. The competition is an ongoing event, partitioned into monthly sections.
|

Eligibility
|
|
Designers worldwide are eligible to participate
|
|
|
|
in this event. Entries must be original, non-template websites that have been created for self-promotion or for paying clients. All submitted websites must be fully functional without any incomplete or "under construction" pages. Any website that violates any of the items below is subject to point deductions:

Web sites with distracting advertisement
Template-based web sites
Design studio sites advertising pricing
Pirated / copied site designs
Extremely large file sizes
Lack of 'skip intro' buttons
Lack of 'music on/off' buttons
Explicit, offensive, and vulgar content
Sub directory sites
Free hosting web sites

Entry
|
|
Entries into the Monthly Design Contest must
|
|
|
|
be made through our official online entry form. All entries must accompany a valid URL. Please do not submit the same site more than once, unless it's design or URL has dramatically changed since its last submission
|
|
Fees
|
|
This contest is free to enter.
|
|
Prizes
|
|
Winners scoring 70 or more points will receive
|
|
|
|
a listing on the monthly winner's page as well as an electronic banner. Winners will also be given the option to purchase a personalized certificate or glass plaque to commemorate their winnings.
|
|
Grading
|
|
Designers who finish with a score of between
|
|
|
|
70 and 79 will receive a silveer accolade. Those who score between 80 and 89 points receive a gold accolade, and those with scores of 90 or more receive a platinum. All designs are judged and graded by real-life design professionals or design educators. Scores are based on:

Permission
|
|
Contestant grants the American Design Awards
|
|
|
|
permission to display the winner's name, company name, client name, photo, or artwork on the American Design Awards' web site or marketing collateral for promotional purposes.

|
Copyright
|
|
American Design Awards assumes all submitted
|
|
|
|
artwork are the work and/or property of the designer or design firm submitting the work. American Design Awards will not be liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the contestant.

Note

The American Design Awards reserve the right
|
|
|
|
to refuse service, or revoke award from any individual or company, whose artwork does not fall within the ethical guidelines set forth by American Design Awards, whether before, during or after the judging is complete. Prizes can change without notice, depending on changes in sponsorship or availability. The American Design Awards shall not be held accountable or responsible for any lost or stolen awards, certificates or entries. Fees are non-refundable once the entry has been submitted for any reason.
